New Patterns
Seven new patterns were introduced at International Quilt Market this fall! Sweet Baby: at Home and on the Go is a complete nursery pattern that includes three quilt options, bed skirt, dust ruffle, crib sheet, valance, bumper pads, high chair cover, car seat peek-a-boo and changing bag. It is a great value retailing at $16.00. A great way for shops to introduce this pattern is to have a “baby shower” at the store. Remember, babies are the number one renewable resource! Download the copyright free bib pattern. The bib pattern takes two coordinating fat quarters to make two bibs.

Two more patterns, All Star Wrestling and All Star Lacrosse, where added to the All Star Sports series. There are now a total of ten sports banners. Look for your favorite sport!

From Wing and a Prayer design, Rows and Ruffles is a fun quilt to use up yardage of fabrics or to use fabrics from a coordinating line. Timeless Treasures Calypso line was used for this quilt. My Dog Spot from Wing and a Prayer design is a fast and fun gift with a simple appliqué center. Timeless Treasures My Dog Spot fabrics where used but any novelty dog prints will work!

Also from Wing and a Prayer are Quote Worthy and Rays of Light. Both patterns are for use with my new fabric line Wing and a Prayer from Timeless Treasures.

Love of Quilting - Easy Quilts
Look for my” Dolly Bag” in Fon’s and Porter’s Love of Quilting’s Jan/Feb issue of Easy Quilts pg. 30-32 to be on the newsstands Jan. 22. This is a fun to make tote with a sleeping pocket on the front of the bag for a doll or stuffed animal. Instructions include a pillow, case and a blanket for complete doll comfort!

New Partnership
I am proud to introduce an additional business adventure, Wing and a Prayer design, with Toni Kay Steere. Toni is a 15 year former quilt shop owner of Prairie Pieces in Council Grove, KS. She now is a fabric representative with several major fabric companies including Timeless Treasures. With her shop knowledge she brings great insight. Look for fabric lines and patterns from the new team!

Timeless Treasures Fabric Line
Born from a single Bible verse of Ecclesiastes, “For everything there is a season,” “Wing and A Prayer” is a faith-based fabric collection designed by Jenny Foltz and Toni Kay Steere for Timeless Treasures. The focal print for the line is a one-yard “worthy quote” project panel with four of the most recognized and loved Bible prayers and quotes: The Lord’s Prayer, Psalm 23, Ecclesiastes 3:1... and 1 Corinthians 13:4. The project panel alone will make four perfect gifts.

The panel may also be used with a 2/3-yard repeat of 7” blocks featuring short bible quotes and faith symbols. The 7” blocks may be used for whole-cloth quilts or cut apart and used as center focal points in many patterns. Complimenting the collection is a tossed religious-symbols print. This may be used for borders, but as a small-scale print, it is perfect for piecing into your favorite blocks. You will also find a tone-on-tone spinning star pattern in carefully chosen rich jewel tones of navy, burgundy, green, purple and warm brown. This is sure to become a shop favorite. Tossed crosses and multi-colored stars complete the “Wing and a Prayer” fabric collection.

The collection with its inspiring message was designed to be shop and user friendly. Jenny and Toni have put together some patterns in support of the line and will continue to develop patterns for this special fabric collection.
